On arrival at the airport or railway station in Delhi, drive towards the first destination – Nainital – a sparkling gem in the crown of Uttarakhand.
Once you reach here, check-in at the designated hotel and spend the remaining day in activities of your choice. You can either relax in your hotel room or enjoy a boat ride on the glittering Naini Lake (at your own cost).
Return to the hotel for a hearty meal and take a good night's sleep for waking up refreshed next morning.
Wake up in the morning and get prepared for the day's excursion. Start with a visit to Hanuman Garhi, which is a famous religious site and picnic spot in the town’s outer bounds. This hilltop temple was built by a highly-revered saint named Neem Karoli Baba in the mid-20th century. Not only is this temple complex a place of veneration, but also a site for beholding the stunning surrounding landscapes. The breathtaking vistas of sunrise and sunset from this place are famous.
Later, leave for an enthralling tour of three lakes – Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal and Sattal. All these lakes are situated at short distances from each other and are known for their picturesque environs and gleaming waters. While the lake in Bhimtal is known for its island, the one in Naukuchiatal is a perfect site for angling and birdwatching. The interconnected lakes in Sattal are quite mysterious and earn fame for their serene location and almost undulated surroundings. You may enjoy boating on all of these lakes and click pictures of the verdant landscapes.
Retire to the hotel for a sumptuous dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
After completing all the formalities, check-out from the hotel and drive to Kausani – the next destination. The drive is a scenic one through the winding roads, with views of rolling hills, mountain streams and dense vegetation. On the way, you can visit Chaubatia and Kalika in Ranikhet. The former of these is a ridge known for its botanical garden and apple orchards, whereas the latter houses a sprawling golf course and a Hindu temple. After exploring these two places, continue the journey to Kausani, a place known for its scenic splendour.
On reaching Kausani, check-in at the hotel and sleep the night away for removing the fatigue.
In the morning, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour, which would take you to the revered Baijnath Temple and Kausani tea plantations.
After an exhilarating day trip, return to the hotel and have your meals, followed by a good night's sleep.
In the morning, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Ranikhet – a hill station and cantonment town.
Ranikhet is a beautiful hill station, nestled in the lap of mountains and within the sight of the Western Himalayas. It was used as a summer retreat by the British during the colonial era. Spread across two high ridges, this hilly cantonment is blessed with nature's bounties in abundance. Temples, colonial establishments and fruit orchards are the main attractions in this beautiful Kumaoni destination of Uttarakhand.
On reaching here, check-in at the hotel and spend the remaining day at leisure. Spend the night in your hotel room and take a refreshing sleep.
Once you have a delicious breakfast, complete the check-out formalities at the hotel.
Thereafter, drive to Delhi's airport or railway station for the journey back home.
